Social Work



Social work is a profession as well as academic discipline which seek to improve quality of life of individuals, groups and communities through direct practice, community organization, research, and other ways. It is also known as the interdisciplinary profession. The social worker should have general knowledge about sociology, psychology, economics, education, counselling etc. so, social workers are known as the “jack of all, master of none”. The main goal of social work is to individuals happiness through case work, group work, and community organization.
